Welcome to Training Camp South Tyrol 2023!

Since starting the Relay of the Dolomites we are producing one-two new maps every year in South Tyrol. Now we would like to offer you this choice of maps for your trainings and training camps in good terrains and tricky maps.

Every map costs 5,00 Euro. It is possible to organize SportIdent trainings for groups over 15 persons. The training costs 7,00 Euro per athlete.

1. Castelrotto. The map is not in use! Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Parking is at “Haus Sabina Café”, GPS: 46.573054, 11.578747. The map was produced in 2016 for first edition of Relay of the Dolomites 2016. Mostly pine forest at 1100-1300m above sea level. Very good runnability and visibility. Some steep slopes. Good net of small path and forest roads. Many detailed areas with a rocky features. Please do not enter on cultivated fields.Trainings: Castelrotto_Middle 1, Castelrotto_no roads 1
2. Monte Pana. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Parking is at Hotel “Cendevaves”, GPS: 46.551195, 11.714021. The map was produced in 2016 for second edition of Relay of the Dolomites 2017. Coniferous forest at 1600-1850m above sea level. Around the arena there are many tracks used in winter for cross-country skiing. The runnability and visibility are mostly good. Upper part of the map has very detailed stony area. There are some new forest clearing after great storm in November 2018. Trainings: Monte Pana_Middle 2,
3. Pemmern-Loden. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Parking is at Hotel Tann, GPS 46.568550, 11.449600. The map was produced in 2017 for third edition of Relay of the Dolomites 2018. Coniferous forest at 1500-1700m above sea level. The runnability and visibility are mostly good. Pay attention on “green 3” areas, this dense forest consist mostly of low mountain pine (pinus mugo) that very difficult to pass through. Trainings: Pemmern-Loden_Long 3
4. Alpe di Siusi-Saltria . Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Parking is in Compaccio, GPS: 46.539890, 11.617249. Take attention, it is only possible to use the road up to Compaccio before 9.00 and after 17.00, parking cost: 18,00€ per day. You can also park at the valley station of the cableway in Siusi, GPS: 46.540395, 11.565861 and take the cableway up to Compaccio. Cost: 18,00€ pro person. From Compaccio it is 5 km of asphalt road through the breathtaking landscape of the Europe’s largest mountain plateau to Saltria. During the summer, it is possible to take a bus from Compaccio to Saltria. You can also reach Saltria from Monte Pana walking along the forest road that crosses the map Monte Pana in south-west direction and continuing for 3km. The map was produced in 2018 for fourth edition of Relay of the Dolomites 2019. Hilly, alpine terrain at foot of mountain massive Sassolungo. Coniferous forest at 1700-2000m above sea level. The runnability and visibility are mostly good. Many cultivated fields and meadows that are forbidden to entry. Trainings: Saltria_Middle 4
5. Passo Pinei. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Production year 2018. Parking is at hotel “Pinei” on pass Pinei, GPS: 46.578858, 11.623609. Pine forest at 1250-1550m above sea level. Very good runnability and visibility. Some steep slopes. Good net of small path and forest roads. Many detailed areas with rocky features. Trainings: Passo Pinei_Middle 5
6. Laranza . Scale 1:10:000, Eq. 5m. Production year 2012. Parking is at Sportbar “Laranz”, GPS: 46.553325, 11.541835. Pine forest at 1100-1200m above sea level. Very good runnability and visibility. Some steep slopes. Good net of small path and forest roads. Many detailed areas with a rocky features. Trainings: Laranza_control picking 6, Laranza_line 6, Laranza_Middle 6
7. Fiè allo Sciliar. Scale 1:10:000, Eq. 5m. Last update in year 2015. Parking is at parkplace Laghetti di Fiè, GPS: 46.521216, 11.520023. Mixed forest at 1000-1150m above sea level. Mostly good runnability and visibility. Good net of small path and forest roads. Please do not enter on cultivated fields.Trainings: Laghetto di Fiè_Middle 7
8. Costalovara. Scale 1:10:000, Eq. 5m. Production year 2017. Parking is at Costalovara lake, GPS: 46.522308, 11.427112. It is possible to reach the map without a car, taking a cableway Renon till Soprabolzano and then following 2 km direction Collalbo. Pine forest at 1050-1250m above sea level. Very good runnability and visibility. Some steep slopes. Good net of small path and forest roads. Many detailed areas with a rocky features. 9. Lobishof. Scale 1:7:500, Eq. 5m. Production year 2016. Parking is at “Lobishof”, GPS: 46.548239, 11.413938. Coniferous forest at 1250-1350m above sea level. Mostly good runnability and visibility. Good net of small path and forest roads. Trainings: Lobishof_Middle 9
10. Collepietra. Scale 1:10.000, 1:15.000, Eq. 5m. The map is prodused in year 2020 for Italian Championships Long and Relay of the Dolomites 2021. Parking is at sportcenter Collepietra, GPS: 46.466197, 11.471060 or at restaurant Oberoelgart, GPS: 46.472791, 11.423259. Coniferous forest at 1100-1300m above sea level. Runnability and visibility mostly good. Hilly topography with moderate to steeper slopes with a dense net of forest roads and hiking trails. There are some cultivated fields, rock details and many contour features. Please respect the out-of-bounds areas marked on the map with purple grid. 11. Frassineto-Pathoiwald. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Production year 2020. Parking is in Frassineto (Meltina), GPS: 46.564230, 11.265983. Pine forest at 1100-1300, mostly gut visibility, undergrowth affect runnability. Trainings: Frassineto-Pathoiwald Middle 11
12. Siusi Sprint. Scale 1:4000, Eq. 2,5m. Production year 2020. Typical mountain village on height of 970-1010m above sea level with detailed historical center and houses with private and public ownership. Please respect private areas! Trainings: Siusi_Sprint ME
    
13. Castelrotto Sprint. Scale 1:4000, Eq. 2,5m. Production year 2020. Typical mountain village on height of 1000-1100m above sea level with detailed historical center and houses with private and public ownership. Please respect private areas! Trainings: Castelrotto_Sprint 3,3km
14. Fiè allo Sciliar Sprint. Scale 1:4000, Eq. 2,5m. Production year 2020. Typical mountain village on height of 800-900m above sea level with detailed historical center and houses with private and public ownership. Please respect private areas!
15. Passo Sella. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Parking is at Hotel “Passo Sella Dolomiti Mountain Resort”, GPS: 46.509619, 11.757269. The map was produced in 2021 for sixs edition of Relay of the Dolomites 2022. Alpine meadows, grassland and forests at 2000-2300m above sea level. Runnability and visibility are mostly good. In the lower part of the map there is alpine forest which is tough to run in with a lot of details, stones and contours. Part of the cource crosses physically and technically very demanding stone area called "Stone City". We ask your attention by crossing the mbk-downhill tracks!. Trainings: Passo Sella 6,6km
    
16. Plan de Gralba. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Production year 2021. Parking is at Plan de Gralba, GPS: 46.532790, 11.772195. Coniferous forest on the slope of Sassolungo massive on the height between 1800m and 2000m above sea level. Mostly good runnable and visible forest with some grass and stony features that can influence the runnability. Many fallen trees reduce the velocity. 17. Falzes. Scale 1:10.000, Eq. 5m. Parking is at sportcenter Falzes, GPS: 46.807212, 11.881564. The map was produced in 2022 for sevens edition of Relay of the Dolomites 2023. The map is considered as one of the fastest maps Italy's. Spruce und pine forest on the gentle slope between 1000 and 1100m above see level. Very good visibility and runnability. Dense net of forest roads and trails does not make the navigation easier. Precise compass work and distance feeling are essential. Please do not enter the privat fields.
